Primary 4-7 pupils staged a Burns Supper Lunch on Monday 26th January 2015, to commemorate the birth of Robert Burns.
Pupils prepared the food for the day with help from Mrs Crombie. We had Cock-a-Leekie soup, Haggis Turnip and Tatties, and Cranachan to finish.
Some parents had sent in tablet and fudge and for the various toasts we had Barrs Irn Bru.
Isaac did the address to the haggis, Primary 5 girls demonstrated Highland dancing, we sang Burns songs, everyone contributed to the Immortal Memory and the Address to the Lassies and Reply to the Laddies.
We ended the afternoon with a poetry recital competition of Scots verse.
Everyone had a great time and below you can see a clip of some of our day.
